May

Congratulations Graduate!
Not sure who has the biggest smile, but we're (all) pretty excited for Spencer. Daniel really enjoyed the chance to have some of his dad's undivided attention during the drive there and back. It was quite the adventure for him--driving to Oklahoma one day and home the next (and being in charge of the cool chest during the drive).
Other events in May (without pictures):
*Jonathan got back from Oklahoma in time to make it to the (last half of the) adult session of Stake Conference. We had the chance to listen to Elder Scott speak. He and Elder Lawrence had come to call a new Stake Presidency. It was neat to hear them share a little about how the process works, and how they just had to find who the Lord had already called to be the new Stake President.
*Watching Caleb find his toes, smiles, and babbles. He's also recently discovered the skill of turning from his back to his tummy, and even done a small amount of 'traveling' using that skill.
*Finding that there is a drain at the edge of the driveway to help drain away the rain water (our driveway slopes down). With some work, it should help keep the water from having to utilize the drain inside the garage, even during big storms. :)
*Being able to attend a (high school) graduation party, farewell party, and a wedding reception all in one day. Jonathan even added on a political reception and we fit in some shopping too.
*Joseph turned 12 this week and received the Aaronic Priesthood today. It was sure fun watching him help pick up the hymn books after the meetings today (which he'd learned was one of the responsibilities earlier this week). Way to follow through!
We're (mostly) looking forward to school being out and having time to do more fun activities and play some games together.
What kinds of things do you look forward to in the summer time?

I cannot believe your kiddos are getting so old! Crazy! Hope you are getting some good weather out there and enjoy it! We're hoping to get some good camping and fishing in along with family reunions.

Joseph turned 12?! That's amazing!! I bet he is going to be such a sweet and helpful deacon. You two are such great parents! I remember how thoughtful and kind your boys were. What a special event for your family :)
