We've been able to have some fun with friends. Yesterday, L. had a friend over (while her mom went with the 1st graders on a field trip), and they had lots of fun! It brought me a smile to see how well L. interacted with her friend as they determined activities to do and how to do them. Aren't they cute!?

A little while back, J. invited a friend to come along as we went to watch the bicyclists that were riding in the Tour of Missouri. I was thinking it would have been an added bonus to cheer for a certain Arizona cyclist. ;) We enjoyed cheering for the cyclists as they streamed past.

This is the view we had as they approaced our position and headed for the last 150 meters of the race. They were able to soar down the hill in the background, only to climb their way back up this side. We could tell it wasn't easy. We had fun cheering until the last cyclists made their way to the finish line.
On another Day, J. had his friend over to our house, and they made cookie pizzas. Here they are with their creations: big chocolate chip cookies topped with fruit. They were sure yummy!
Thank goodness for the times that make the rest worth it.

So fun to share in your fun! Yes, L and friend look cute...as to J's smiles with his friend! I hope you're enjoying projecting and that feeling a deadline or pressures don't make them stressful. I'm glad you take to breaks to decompress too..they sure help don't they? As Elder Uchdorf said...create, but remember it doesn't have to be perfect...we are enjoying the journey and the process of creating...expressing our natures! Beautify the world one smile at a time and maybe we'll keep smiling too!
Thank you sooo much for the congratulations!! You are such a sweetie!! Your family looks so happy and the kids are as cute as ever. Its so fun to stay in touch :)
